Food Entrepreneurs in ALL IN Eats
Supporting new food businesses in Alameda County
Alameda County has some of the most creative food entrepreneurs in the Bay Area and we want our Circular Food Economy to support them.
Supporting Food Entrepreneurs in Alameda County

Small Food Business Incubation
As we transition out of providing pandemic emergency food aid, we will be building upon these partnerships to begin producing medically-supportive meals as part of our Food As Medicine operation and also facilitating the use of CalFresh benefits for the purchase of produce and meals. Contact Jasmin Castaneda (jcastaneda@acdsal.org) to find out more about how to become a food vendor in our operation.

Small Business Training
Our goal is to build a pipeline of small business opportunities, with entrepreneurship development, business incubation, and career pathway education and support. Many organizations within the community deliver this type of training and we’ll be providing information about these opportunities in the near future. If your organization provides such services, please get in touch with Jasmin Castaneda at jcastaneda@acdsal.org.

Food Aid Contract Sign-Up
We’ve been supporting local food businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic – The County has provided funding to contract with many small food businesses to help produce prepared meals for home-bound seniors, vulnerable patients, and families experiencing food insecurity as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. Interested in receiving one of these contracts? Find out more here.

Food Entrepreneur Collaborative
To bolster the work of our local food entrepreneurs, we’d like to form a network of restaurants, caterers, and other food preparers, and then together to bid on larger food production contracts within the County. If you’re interested in being part of a future food entrepreneur network, please get in touch with Jasmin Castaneda at jcastaneda@acdsal.org.

ALL IN Eats Nutrition Standards for Prepared Meals
We’ve developed ALL IN Eats Nutrition Standards to aid our food entrepreneurs in preparing meals for Alameda County residents that meet high dietary standards. Find out about the standards and view recorded training webinars to learn more.
