Dozens of amazing food entrepreneurs in our community have been pitching in to help produce healthy, prepared meals for families in our community. To support these food entrepreneurs, we have developed ALL IN Eats Nutrition Standards that provide guidelines on proportions of healthy veggies, proteins, starchy carbohydrates, and fats. What’s new and different about our nutrition training is that we’re expanding resources to incorporate and celebrate the cultures and their cuisines in our community.

Some topics to highlight are:

  • Sugar: High consumption of sugar is dangerous! Keep in mind that beets and carrots have lots of sugar, so be mindful!
  • Healthy oils: cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil (though it may carry environmental risks) and non-GMO oil.
  • Proteins: try vegetarian proteins such as tofu, nuts, lentils, or legumes. Most importantly, avoid processed meats!
  • Eat less of the Dirty Dozen and more of the Clean Fifteen
